Tor Rugby Club
Castle Cary RFC

This was the first game of 2019 for Tor 1XV in Somerset 1, where they continued their trend of recording a BIG W by denying the visitors any points; whilst also sending them packing with a half century display.

This was very much a one-sided affair compared to the away game earlier in the season where Tor were denied a winning bonus point against Cary.

Nice local derby to kick off the 2nd half of the season, with the weather being bitterly cold and causing some issues which Tor handled extremely well.

Set piece for Tor was on top form... in fact the side was relatively flawless in both the forwards and backs, with minimal opporunties that didn't end up leading to a try.

Great start to the second half of the season which sends a message to Cheddar 1XV who Tor play this weekend on Saturday 12th January.
