Tor 1XV travelled to Bath Old Edwardians in what was to be the worst conditions the side had played in so far this season; with the wind, rain and cold causing all sorts of trouble on the day.
This poor weather was to be a savior for Bath Old Edwardians, as the match on paper looked to be a half century opportunity for Tor. Scrums as a result of numerous knock-ons were the main part of the day for both sides; with lineouts being like winning the lottery.
Bath Old Edwardians had plenty of attempts in attack, however failed to gain any points by the end of play. Tor punished their poor discipline with plenty of kicks through the posts which closed the game.
Tor managed to not concede any points which was a great performance given the weather. This was Tors 11th consecutive win in the league, remaining unbeaten in Somerset 1.
This was the last match of the season, with 5th January 2019 being where play resumes for Tor 1XV against Castle Cary 1XV at Home. Great end to the year!
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!
