This was the most physical Tor had been against their opposition so far, even more so than against Keynsham 2XV last week.
This was Tor's game all day... Both Tor forwards and backs dominated a subdued North Petherton across all game areas who were dropping like flies due to the physicality.
An unfortunate yellow card allowed North Petherton to get an unconverted try on the scoreboard, with Tor recording 28 points in the first half.
Either side of half time was stop-start due to injuries, which resulted in the game ending after 65 minutes due to a serious neck injury to one of the North Petherton players. We wish him a speedy recovery.
No game for Tor 1XV next week, with a match AWAY against Old Sulians the following week after.
Tor 1XV maintained their top of the league status, along with their unbeaten run in Somerset 1.
Stothert & Pitt 1XV remain close behind in the league, to which Tor will be playing them 1st December.
